India tasted great success on August 23, 2023, with the historic landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the Moon’s South Pole. This huge achievement led India to become the first country to land in this region and the fourth country to accomplish a successful lunar landing. To commemorate this lifetime event, India celebrated its first National Space Day on 23^rd August 2024.
