ABOUT THE INDUSTRY
Indian rail network ranks as the 4th largest rail network globally. Indian railway, called ‘the lifeline of the nation’, moves 8 billion passengers and 1.1 billion tonnes of freight annually to the farthest corner of the country. The Government of India is religiously working on the electrification of the rail network by targeting the “Net – Zero carbon emission” railway by 2030. Indian Railway’s major revenue of around 65% comes from freight traffic.
OUR ROLE
The core team of AG provides consultancy services for the Implementation of Capacity Building Reform, Monetization of Land and Infrastructure planning, Policy Handling for Operation. We promote the use of the latest “smart” technology for: communication, energy efficiency, safety & disaster management, maintenance & operation of services for a structured freight management system. Knowledge analysis of different products and services while promoting them through fruitful collaboration by empanelment of private players and bringing them into the railway transport.
