Climate change is a globally shared responsibility. This is one of the most critical challenges of this time that needs a collaborative approach to deal with where the international and national efforts have their due weightage to address the concerns and limit the impacts. To bring the various national governments on the same platform and address the rising challenges of climate change in the 21^st century, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in 2015 has come up with the Paris Agreement to find the way forward through a legally binding international treaty.
