Extended Producer Responsibility Guidelines to Reduce Plastic Footprints through Sustainable Packaging Practices

On 27^th April 2023, the Ministry Of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) notified the amended rule for Plastic Waste Management in India. It’s been almost a year since single-use plastic items have been banned by the Government of India. The move later followed with the notification of the Guidelines on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for plastic packaging vide Plastic Waste Management (Amendment) Rules, 2022.
