The Prime Minister of India issued direction to prepare the “Vision India @ 2047” document and identify the long-term vision and goals by the Central Ministries and Departments of the Government of India by May 2022. The first meeting of its sectoral experts has been recently organized by the Department of Administrative Reforms on the governance structuring in which secretaries from 10 distinct sectors of the Indian economy were taking part to shape up the vision document and make India future-ready.
