The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), through MeitY Startup Hub (MSH), has launched the third cohort of the GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) programme to support aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, researchers, students and early-stage startup founders in developing technology-led ideas into viable ventures. GENESIS EIR 3.0 was launched on 4 August 2026 during the GENESIS NextGen Startup Summit – Coimbatore Edition at Rathinam Global University, Coimbatore. The initiative seeks to expand opportunities for technology innovators, particularly those based in Tier-II and Tier-III cities.
